Clara Barton Medical Center’s ER department is staffed and equipped to be ready for your emergency services needs. We pride ourselves in keeping current with nationwide trends and best practices to give our community the care you need for optimal outcomes. The ER is staffed with experienced and caring physicians and physician assistants who all have certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. The ER is staffed with dedicated RNs who have additional certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
We are proud to be a Level 4 Trauma Center and have worked diligently to be prepared to treat any accidental injuries in our community. Our surgeons are invested in making Clara Barton ER a center of excellence for trauma care.
Clara Barton ER is also a Stroke Ready Hospital a designation awarded by the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. Part of being stroke ready is our telemedicine robot, RETA that connects our ER providers with neurologist at Swedish Hospital in Denver. RETA allows the neurologist there to examine our patients directly, but also to see and interpret CTs to guide the care of a person who is actively having a stroke.
