October 22, 2019
Clara Barton Hospital and Clinics is pleased to announce the addition of both Jenna Snell, PA-C and Brandi Goetz, PA-C as the newest members of the Clara Barton healthcare team. Snell and Goetz have joined the staff at Clara Barton Medical Clinic as Physician Assistants.
Snell grew up in Ellinwood, Kansas. She attended Kansas State University and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Life Science degree. Goetz grew up in Park, Kansas. She also attended Kansas State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. After graduating from Kansas State University, both Snell and Goetz continued their education at Wichita State University and graduated with Masters of Physician Assistant Studies.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jenna and Brandi to the Clara Barton family and to our community,” said Clara Barton President/CEO, Jim Blackwell. “These two are bright rising stars in our clinical family and I know they will become strong advocates for our patient care.”
The work environment and core mission of the organization was key in drawing the new PA’s to their career at Clara Barton.
“The Clara Barton team is innovative and continually working to provide the surrounding communities with high quality care,” said Snell. “Ultimately, their mission and values matched my own, especially the emphasis placed on providing compassionate, personalized care. I loved growing up in Barton County, so it was an easy decision to return and be a provider in the same area I grew up in and give back to those that helped shape me into the person I am today.”
In her spare time, Snell enjoys running, traveling, cheering on the K-State Wildcats, spending time with her dog, Teddy, and cat, Percy, and spoiling her nephew. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Both are excited to return to small communities, very similar to the ones they were raised in.
“I have always wanted to work in rural family medicine and I love how everyone at Clara Barton is continuously working to grow, improve, and better serve our patients,” said Goetz. “I’m looking forward to getting to know all of my patients and caring for people of all ages in Hoisington and the surrounding communities.”
Goetz enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, cooking, and participating in medical mission trips. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Kansas Academy of Physicians Assistants.
Both Snell and Goetz started at Clara Barton in September. They are now accepting new patients at Clara Barton Medical Clinic in Hoisington where Snell will see patients Monday through Wednesday and Goetz will see patients Monday through Friday. Snell also sees patients on Thursdays and Fridays at Clara Barton Medical Clinic – Great Bend.
“Both Jenna and Brandi are wonderful additions to our staff and deliver excellent care to our patients,” said Blackwell. “We were immediately impressed with the clinical talent along with the compassionate personalities each of them brought to the Clara Barton team. I know they will be well received by the patients they serve."
