Cardiac Rehabilitation is an outpatient service that includes lifestyle modification, supervised exercise and education to help individuals learn healthy lifestyle techniques to prevent progression of coronary artery disease (CAD) and assist in recovery following a heart attack or cardiac surgery.  


The goals of Cardiac Rehabilitation are as follows:


    ●  Provide an individualized exercise program

    ●  Monitor and detect EKG changes during exercise

    ●  Educate participants on proper mechanics of exercise

    ●  Provide education for better understanding of their

         cardiovascular disease.

    ●  Work with participant and family on lifestyle


    ●  Help participant prepare physically, mentally and

         emotionally for return to normal family and social roles

    ●  Provide guidelines for long-term exercise
